Balenciaga in Paris seeks a Retail Sales Intern at Galeries Lafayette — 3-month internship starting June 2026. Join the boutique retail team as a sales intern.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and advise clients throughout the sales process, delivering a bespoke customer experience consistent with the Maison’s image.
- Present and communicate product and brand narratives tailored to Balenciaga’s ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear ranges.
- Assist with alteration coordination and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and order accuracy.
- Collect and update client contact details and maintain the customer database.
- Support goods receiving: tagging, pricing and merchandising new arrivals on the sales floor.
- Participate in stock replenishment, visual tidying of the boutique and general upkeep of the sales area.
- Contribute to inventory preparation and physical stock organisation in collaboration with the store team.
Qualifications
- Currently a student or recent graduate eligible for a professional internship (convention de stage) in France; availability from early June for a 3‑month internship.
- Enthusiasm for luxury ready-to-wear, accessories and/or footwear with keen product and fashion sensibility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening and a client-centric service mindset.
- Polished personal presentation with persuasive communication abilities.
- Operational proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Entry-level — no prior professional retail experience required; candidates with internships, retail exposure, or strong interest in luxury fashion are encouraged to apply.
Education
Enrolled in or recently graduated from tertiary education (fashion, retail, business or related disciplines); eligible for an internship contract (convention de stage) in France.
