Balenciaga is seeking a Sales and Client Advisor, reporting to the Store Director, to support store operations and deliver high-quality customer service. The role covers sales, opening and closing procedures, stock and loss prevention, visual merchandising, store maintenance and team communication.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals.
- Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Keep the stockroom organized and merchandise accessible to staff.
- Assist management with the store’s day-to-day operations and contribute to balanced performance across sales, operations, merchandising and personnel management.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with departments, stores, colleagues and staff.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback appropriately and promptly.
- Follow, implement and enforce the store operations manual, and provide feedback on necessary updates or changes.
- Enforce company sustainability policies at local and global levels.
- Partner with the Stock Associate, Operations Manager and Sales Team to minimize store shrinkage through sound operational execution.
- Ensure cash registers and the safe function properly; enforce back-of-house cash and change accuracy standards and ensure timely bank deposits.
- Assist with visual displays and merchandising in line with company standards and direction from the Store Manager or direct report.
- Communicate visual standards information from the Store Manager and Corporate to the team as needed.
- Oversee daily cleaning and the physical upkeep of the store’s interior and exterior.
- Maintain store fixtures, shelving, carpeting, lighting and supplies to high standards of function, presentation and upkeep.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or fashion.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment through excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proven ability to drive results in a selling role and exceed individual and store goals.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen, with a genuine passion for the fashion industry.
- Strategic vision to develop the business and a high level of personal performance.
