Balenciaga Sales & Client Advisor position in Guangzhou, China. Represent the brand and guide clients through their luxury shopping journey.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets, quantitative and qualitative goals, and KPIs aligned with store performance objectives
- Welcome clients and provide tailor-made advice by presenting Balenciaga collections and brand universe with storytelling approach
- Inspire clients by embodying Balenciaga brand behaviors and maintaining the highest standards of service, image, and values
- Execute omnichannel client journey, ensuring seamless service across retail, digital, and fulfillment channels
- Create and update client portfolio through Luce app and follow up to build long-term relationships
- Maintain display and organization of all retail areas respecting visual merchandising standards and product presentation guidelines
- Process client transactions at cash desk including in-store sales, distant sales, and multi-channel orders
- Collaborate closely with stock team to ensure product availability and meet client requests
- Receive, process, and prepare store deliveries and shipments to clients
- Execute omnichannel after-sales policy providing highest standards and administrative follow-up
- Report client requests, complaints, and feedback to Management Team
- Stay informed on market trends, fashion developments, and competitive business environment
- Promote and execute omnichannel services in-store including click-and-collect and other digital services
- Contribute to front and back-of-house operations including stock control and inventory management
- Participate in achieving sustainability goals and corporate responsibility initiatives
- Facilitate teamwork by assisting colleagues and maintaining collaborative, service-oriented approach with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience in luxury retail or fashion environment (external hire)
- Completion of Balenciaga onboarding and Omnichannel Client Journey training (internal promotion)
- Minimum 1 year experience as Sales Associate at Balenciaga (internal promotion path)
- Strong knowledge of Balenciaga brand heritage, collections, and product characteristics
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs consistently
- Excellent customer service skills with ability to engage clients authentically
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail technology platforms including Luce app
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (Simplified)
- Professional appearance and demeanor reflecting brand standards

Experience
External candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience in luxury retail, fashion, or comparable high-end retail environment. Internal candidates must have completed Balenciaga onboarding and Omnichannel Client Journey training, with at least 1 year of tenure as a Sales Associate. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional client experiences is essential.
Education
Secondary education completed; further training in luxury retail, fashion, or hospitality preferred but not required. Completion of brand-specific training programs (Balenciaga onboarding, Omnichannel Client Journey) is mandatory.
