Balenciaga Beijing (China World Store) seeks a Sales & Client Advisor to drive omnichannel sales, client engagement and luxury retail excellence.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual and store sales targets, KPIs and qualitative goals through proactive client engagement.
  • Represent the Balenciaga universe with accurate storytelling about collections, inspirations and product details.
  • Deliver an impeccable omnichannel client journey, including in-store, remote sales and M-xstore transactions.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships; create and update client profiles and follow up using the Luce app.
  • Provide tailored styling advice, handle client requests and escalate complaints to Store Management when necessary.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and product presentation meet brand standards; maintain store display and organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with stock and BOH teams to ensure product availability, process deliveries, manage shipments and support inventories.
  • Execute Retail Excellence processes across front- and back-of-house and support after-sales administration per HQ guidelines.
  • Act as a supportive team member across internal stakeholders, contributing to a service-oriented, collaborative environment and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

  • If internally promoted: completion of Balenciaga onboarding and Omnichannel Client Journey training and a minimum of 1 year in the Sales Associate role.
  • If hired externally: minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in luxury retail or premium brands.
  • Demonstrable client-facing professionalism, strong communication and service-orientation.
  • Ability to perform front-of-house and back-of-house retail operations with limited supervision.

Experience

Candidates promoted internally should have completed Balenciaga's onboarding and have at least 1 year as a Sales Associate; external candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 2 years relevant sales experience, ideally within luxury retail and omnichannel environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in business, fashion, merchandising or a related field is advantageous.
