Balenciaga in Paris seeks an RTW Product Intern (VIC/VIP/Press) for July 2026 to support PLM, prototypes and product development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the RTW Product VIC/VIP/PRESS developer on special projects and privileged client orders from concept through delivery.
- Support development of VIC, VIP and PRESS projects as well as bespoke and special-order workflows.
- Update and maintain PLM records: product codification, creation and maintenance of bills of materials (BOMs), archiving of projects and prototypes.
- Coordinate prototype logistics: initiate shipments, track receipt, perform quality control checks and manage necessary alterations.
- Maintain project dashboards covering launches, trims and fabric procurement, and delivery planning.
- Liaise with external manufacturers and internal ateliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide administrative and logistical support (preparation of contractor/atelier cost sheets, documentation, etc.).
- Contribute to transversal departmental projects as required; tasks may evolve according to business needs.
Qualifications
- First professional experience in product development; previous internship experience in fashion is required.
- Demonstrated interest and sensitivity to high-end ready-to-wear and luxury fashion.
- Autonomous, rigorous and highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
- Versatile and able to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (required); Italian is a plus.
- Familiarity with PLM systems (preferred).

Experience
A first professional experience in product development is required, ideally gained through internships or junior roles within the fashion or luxury sector.
Education
Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, Apparel/Product Development, Merchandising or a related programme; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
