Balenciaga is hiring a Retail Sales Associate (5-month contract) in Nice. Join the boutique team to deliver luxury client service and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet, advise and convert clientele, delivering exceptional, brand-consistent customer service.
- Present merchandise and the Balenciaga image with sartorial accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide personalised styling advice and proactively develop client relationships to grow sales and the customer database.
- Execute sales transactions, including cash handling and processing tax-free (détaxe) operations.
- Coordinate and follow up on alterations and client requests.
- Maintain and update client records and conduct post-sale follow-ups and reactivation.
- Receive, tag and merchandize incoming stock; replenish floor stock and maintain visual standards.
- Prepare for and participate in inventory counts; organise and tidy back-stock.
- Contribute to qualitative and quantitative sales reporting as requested by the store management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail sales, ideally in ready-to-wear, accessories and/or footwear.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with highly developed listening and persuasive abilities.
- Polished personal presentation and a strong service orientation.
- Deep product and fashion sensitivity; ownership of a personal client portfolio is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (bilingual level); knowledge of an additional language is desirable.
- Availability for a fixed-term assignment of approximately five months and ability to report to the Boutique Manager.

Experience
Demonstrable, confirmed experience in luxury prêt-à-porter and/or accessories and/or footwear retail, with a track record of client development and achieving sales targets.

The successful candidate will be located in Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.
