Balenciaga seeks a Retail Manager in Bangkok, Thailand to lead sales and operations across directly operated stores in the Southeast Asia region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own sales and operating expenses for all retail stores in Thailand; ensure stores manage the business on a day-to-day basis by maximizing sales and achieving monthly targets
  • Perform sales analysis and forecasting; develop sales strategies and action plans to lead stores in achieving targets and track competitor performance and market trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and partners; manage collaborations to further develop the business
  • Drive client engagement (CEE) target achievement and identify opportunities to enhance client service through a client-centric mindset
  • Ensure stores are maintained to the highest standards in terms of store condition, staff grooming, visual merchandising, and back-of-house organization
  • Execute store operation policies in line with Kering Group compliance standards; supervise stores in handling administrative duties, daily reporting, and staff duty rosters
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate performance and address needs and issues; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize store expenses while maintaining compliance
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers; coordinate with CRM and Merchandising teams to organize in-store and promotional events to sustain customer loyalty
  • Motivate and coach staff to ensure adherence to company procedures, values, and team spirit; ensure staff are well trained on company procedures, product knowledge, security, and operations
  • Identify and develop top-performing Managers and Sales Associates; assess training needs, provide constructive feedback, and evaluate staff performance on a timely basis
  • Build effective teams; recruit, develop, and retain talented staff and work closely with the Training department to identify action plans that improve performance results
  • Coordinate and ensure repairs and services are provided in a timely manner; partner with Merchandising and Visual Merchandising teams to maximize sales and maintain consistent brand standards

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in brand management or retail operations within specialty stores or international luxury brand companies
  • Practical, hands-on experience in the Thailand market with a proven track record of effective brand-building initiatives and driving business results
  • Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management, influencing, and coaching skills
  • Highly organized and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and collaborative with a strong sense of accountability
