Balenciaga Retail Buying Intern (EMEA) — Paris, France | 6-month internship starting January 2027
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of sales performance and stock levels across EMEA region
- Monitor and track deliveries, receipts, and returns to ensure efficient supply chain operations
- Manage product replenishment and optimize inventory availability across retail locations
- Provide operational support to retail teams across multiple points of sale
- Communicate product information, commercial priorities, and retail guidelines to store locations
- Assist the Buying Team before and during seasonal showrooms
- Gather and share field feedback, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations for product assortment optimization
- Contribute to the development and refinement of seasonal product assortment
Qualifications
- Master's degree student or on a gap year, preferably from a business school with Finance or Consulting specialization, or fashion school
- Prior significant internship experience in buying, finance, or consulting
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with ability to formulate strategic recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented, autonomous, and adaptable with strong analytical capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Fluent in English; Italian proficiency a plus

Experience
Significant prior internship experience in buying, finance, or consulting. Experience in the fashion or luxury sector is advantageous but not required.
Education
Master's degree student (or gap year student). Preference for graduates of business schools with Finance or Consulting specialization, or fashion schools.
