Balenciaga seeks a 6-month Retail Buying Intern in Paris (Sept 2026) to support merchandising operations, analysis, and assortment development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales and inventory performance
  • Monitor delivery processes, product receipts, and merchandise returns
  • Manage stock replenishment and optimize product availability across distribution channels
  • Provide operational support to multi-location retail teams
  • Communicate product information, commercial priorities, and retail guidelines across the network
  • Support the Buying team during showroom preparation and events
  • Synthesize field feedback, market analysis, and tactical recommendations for merchandising strategy
  • Contribute to product assortment development and seasonal planning

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Master's degree programme or taking a gap year
  • Prior significant internship experience in buying, finance, or management consulting
  • Background from a business school specialising in Finance or Consulting, or a fashion school preferred
  • Experience in the fashion or luxury sector advantageous
