Balenciaga is seeking a Production Quality Assistant Intern to support the ready-to-wear team with coordination and production of men’s and women’s collections, reporting to the Industrialisation Manager. The role is a six-month internship in the Development/Industrialisation department, covering factory coordination, PLM administration, fittings, testing and prototype tracking.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with putting collections, special projects and capsule collections into production.
- Liaise with production factories.
- Participate in and help organise fittings, taking notes and photographs.
- Update information and archive documents in PLM.
- Participate in detail reviews.
- Participate in Normalisation and TDS fittings.
- Monitor wash tests and wear tests.
- Send fabrics and trims to factories for TDS production.
- Follow up with suppliers on TDS schedules and monitor the schedule.
- Send, label and track prototypes.
Qualifications
- Education in fashion or business, or an equivalent qualification.
- Bilingual in English and fluent in French.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and very comfortable using IT tools.
- Dynamic, responsive, organised, and equipped with strong interpersonal skills; enjoys teamwork and has an interest in fashion.
- A first professional experience in a fashion or luxury setting is highly valued.
- Seeking a six-month internship.
