Role & Responsibilities
- Perform precision sewing of individual components and final leather products according to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain a variety of sewing equipment, including flatbed, post‑bed, column and automatic sewing machines.
- Provide support to the bench assembly area during component assembly and finishing operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the production line, reporting defects and suggesting process enhancements.
- Adhere to production schedules, meet productivity targets and maintain housekeeping and safety standards at the workstation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a machinist in the leather goods or high‑end accessories sector; experience in Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
- Technical diploma or vocational qualification, preferably in Textile, Clothing & Fashion with specialization in leather goods.
- Proven manual dexterity, precision and strong attention to detail.
- Result‑oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong problem‑solving aptitude and an orientation toward continuous improvement.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience
At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a machinist in leather goods production or a closely related high‑quality accessories manufacturing environment; prior exposure to Lean Manufacturing practices preferred.
Education
