Balenciaga Indirect Procurement Intern in Paris – 6-month paid internship supporting global sourcing and vendor management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and select new suppliers across assigned procurement categories
- Evaluate and manage supplier relationships while maintaining continuous oversight of the supplier database
- Detect new optimization opportunities related to processes and cost reduction
- Establish communication channels with internal stakeholders and capture their sourcing requirements
- Develop and coordinate procurement requests for proposal (RFI and RFQ) processes, including specifications and terms
- Negotiate supplier agreements with respect to pricing, commercial terms, and service levels
- Champion best practices and ensure adherence to group policies, particularly in transport and logistics
- Establish and implement supplier contracts with support from legal teams
- Monitor and track key procurement performance indicators
- Produce ad hoc reports as needed to achieve business objectives
- Deliver regular progress reporting on procurement activities and outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent (Bac+5) with specialization in procurement or supply chain management
- Formal training in procurement methodologies and supplier management
- English language fluency at business level
Skills
Experience
Significant and demonstrated experience in a procurement or indirect sourcing role, with exposure to supplier selection, evaluation, and management. International experience is preferred.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) in procurement, supply chain management, or related field.
