Role & Responsibilities

• Partner with retail managers and corporate stakeholders to provide proactive HR advisory that supports business performance and organisational objectives
• Build trusted relationships with business leaders, guiding them on people matters, workforce planning and organisational effectiveness
• Coach and support managers in making sound people decisions while ensuring consistency, fairness and compliance with company policies and Korean employment legislation
• Develop recruitment strategies and define role requirements in partnership with hiring managers to identify and attract luxury retail talent
• Build pipelines of high-potential talent through direct sourcing, networking and market mapping to support current and future hiring needs
• Conduct candidate assessments through interviews and competency-based evaluations aligned with Balenciaga's values, culture and capability requirements
• Manage offer negotiations, pre-employment processes and onboarding to deliver seamless candidate experiences
• Drive the annual performance management cycle including objective setting, performance reviews, calibration and development planning
• Support talent identification, succession planning and career development initiatives to strengthen organisational capability
• Provide day-to-day HR advisory on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, grievances and attendance management
• Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, probation, transfers, promotions, contract changes and offboarding
• Ensure HR operations are executed accurately and in compliance with local employment legislation, internal policies and governance requirements
• Maintain accurate employee records within Workday and support HR reporting, audits and compliance activities
• Support planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives that reinforce Balenciaga's culture and values
• Participate in global HR projects, process improvements and change management initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum 7–8 years of progressive HR experience within luxury retail, fashion or premium retail industry with strong HR Business Partnering exposure
• Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders to provide HR advisory, talent management and employee relations support
• Strong understanding of Korean employment legislation and HR practices
• Experience handling employee relations matters including performance management, investigations, disciplinary processes and workplace issues
• Commercial mindset with ability to balance business priorities, employee experience and risk management
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with confidence to coach and challenge managers constructively
• Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; Workday experience highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build trusted relationships across all organisational levels

Minimum 7–8 years of progressive HR experience within the luxury retail, fashion or premium retail industry, with demonstrated expertise in HR business partnering, talent management, employee relations and recruitment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
