Balenciaga seeks a HR Business Partner in Scandicci, Italy — senior HRBP to support Shoes and RTW operations across Scandicci & Novara.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for the assigned perimeter (Shoes in Scandicci; RTW in Novara), partnering with line managers on day‑to‑day people management and HR queries.
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for operational and corporate roles, ensuring alignment with business requirements and employer brand.
  • Coordinate and deliver induction programs to ensure effective onboarding and early integration of new hires.
  • Prepare and maintain all HR documentation across the employee lifecycle (hiring, promotions, org changes, disciplinary actions, exits) in compliance with Italian labour law and internal policies.
  • Administer HR systems and back‑office processes (Workday, Talent Match), maintaining accurate records and audit readiness.
  • Drive the consistent implementation of core HR processes including performance reviews, talent reviews and compensation cycles.
  • Advise on organisational design, workforce planning and team effectiveness to support operational objectives.
  • Monitor HR KPIs (headcount, cost vs. budget, turnover, performance review completion, learning completion) and deliver insights to support management decisions.
  • Support the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives, liaising with external providers and training funds where applicable.
  • Contribute to HR projects and cross‑functional initiatives (D&I, talent development, work‑life balance), collaborating with HQ in Paris and regional HR stakeholders.
  • Provide regular on‑site presence across Scandicci and Novara to ensure proximity to the business and effective stakeholder support.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role within multi‑site, structured organisations.
  • Proven experience across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, disciplinary processes and organisational change.
  • Demonstrable exposure to performance management, compensation cycles and talent review processes.
  • Good knowledge of Italian labour law and HR practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Humanities or related field; Master’s in Human Resources or equivalent is a plus.
  • Fluent English required; fluent French is a plus.

Experience

At least five years’ progressive HR experience in a Business Partner capacity within multi‑site operations, combining advisory and operational HR tasks across recruitment, employee relations, performance and organisational change.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Humanities or related field; Master’s in Human Resources is a plus.
