Balenciaga in Paris seeks a Global Visual Merchandising Manager to lead VM strategy and execution across retail and wholesale networks.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Visual Merchandising Director in developing and implementing seasonal visual direction and training guidelines.
  • Drive the development and rollout of visual merchandising strategy across Leather Goods and Footwear categories.
  • Ensure adherence to global VM guidelines across the Retail and Wholesale networks and monitor regional compliance.
  • Design and produce Visual Merchandising tools in response to Retail and Wholesale needs; support their deployment and in-store execution.
  • Guide and support store openings and remodels, including VM layouts, procurement of VM tools and onsite execution oversight.
  • Coordinate and support special events, pop-ups, showroom set-ups and bespoke Visual Merchandising installations.
  • Manage seasonal content updates for lightboxes and video screens across the global retail and wholesale network.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with Studio, Retail, Wholesale, Merchandising and Communication to secure alignment and information flow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts & Design, Fashion or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of progressive Visual Merchandising experience within the luxury fashion sector.
  • Proven expertise in Visual Merchandising for Leather Goods and Footwear preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work across regions and functions.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, detail-oriented and flexible; strong team-player mentality.
