Balenciaga Global Retail Operations Intern (6 months) in Paris — support retail strategy, procedures, and tools development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of global retail operations strategy through harmonization and monitoring of retail processes
  • Develop one-pagers and e-learning modules to facilitate adoption of key processes and procedures
  • Collect and analyze market-specific operational needs from boutiques worldwide
  • Manage boutique uniforms and grooming guidelines in collaboration with design and product teams
  • Optimize inventory management for retail-related items including orders and replenishment requests
  • Supervise communication flows between headquarters and boutiques
  • Identify team needs and operational challenges across the retail network
  • Collaborate with the Management Information Systems (MIS) team to develop new retail tools and applications
  • Create training materials and supports for retail teams on procedures and new tools
  • Support the adoption of new applications developed for boutique teams
  • Manage various retail tools including packaging, drink service, and office supplies
  • Organize and coordinate monthly Retail Operations meetings including agenda preparation and support materials

Qualifications

  • Direct experience in retail and/or retail operations
  • Strong interest in customer service, boutique customer journey, and purchase experience
  • Organized, autonomous, and operationally minded with respect for deadlines
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Pedagogical skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Available for a 6-month paid internship
