Balenciaga Paris: Europe Retail Buyer Leather Goods. Six-month fixed-term contract from October 2026. Manage assortment and inventory strategy across Europe.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the Leather Goods category across all European retail locations, determining product assortments and ensuring balanced collections for each point of sale
- Conduct in-depth sales analysis and revenue forecasting by product and location, adjusting inventory throughout the season and during promotional periods
- Monitor best-selling and slow-moving items across all zones and implement corrective actions through merchandise reallocations and inter-store transfers
- Provide proactive purchasing recommendations and sales forecasts for new store openings based on location typology and market analysis
- Track and analyze product sales, inventory levels, and distribution patterns across the retail network using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Oversee shipments, transfers, and returns logistics; monitor restock cycles and showroom order entry
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, CRM, Training, and Retail teams across Europe to execute strategy and optimize merchandising alignment with commercial goals
Qualifications
- Confirmed experience in Retail Merchandising within the fashion industry
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and fluent English
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and rigorous execution standards
- Natural affinity for both numerical analysis and product sensitivity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated adaptability
- Self-directed, intellectually curious, and committed to high performance
