Balenciaga in Paris seeks an Employment Law Intern (July 2026) to support HR legal projects, CSE preparation and labour relations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Draft legal responses to internal stakeholders on a range of employment law matters.
  • Support preparation and administration of Works Council (CSE) meetings: prepare agendas, presentation materials, minutes and manage Outlook scheduling.
  • Assist with disciplinary procedures and negotiated terminations: draft legal documents, prepare supporting papers and conduct financial calculations.
  • Contribute to case management for individual and collective disputes, including drafting and organising responses.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in French employment law and jurisprudence and report relevant changes.
  • Collect and analyse HR practices with HR partners and produce dedicated legal or operational guidance and templates.
  • Provide operational support on GDPR/privacy matters in coordination with privacy referents.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or holder of a Master 2 (or equivalent) in Labour/Employment Law, DJCE or CAPA.
  • Strong legal drafting skills and rigorous approach to documentation and confidentiality.
  • Diplomatic interpersonal style, adaptability and pragmatic orientation to problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate in English with international interlocutors.
  • Interest in applying legal expertise in a business and HR context.

Experience
