Balenciaga — EMEA Press Intern in Paris. Support the press team on showroom, media relations, Launchmetrics sends and press coverage.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the EMEA press team in daily operational tasks and media relations with journalists and stylists.
- Prepare, send and manage returns for press shopping requests for editorials and shoots using Launchmetrics.
- Receive, dispatch and ship press orders for Balenciaga offices; maintain accurate stock records and perform monthly inventories.
- Ensure the showroom is well-presented and organised for visits, fittings and client meetings.
- Produce the weekly press review: collect clippings, compile and layout publications, and archive them on the shared network.
- Respond to journalists' credit requests and coordinate follow-ups with internal stakeholders.
- Assist on press events, photo shoots and runway shows as required, including on-site support and logistics.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or graduate of a fashion, communications or public relations programme.
- Strong sensibility for the Balenciaga brand universe and luxury fashion aesthetics.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise multiple simultaneous requests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor when liaising with media and internal teams.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Skills
Experience
Suitable for a student or recent graduate; previous internships or exposure to press/PR, showroom operations or fashion editorial support is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed studies in fashion, communications, public relations or a related discipline.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
