Balenciaga in Paris is seeking an Embroidery Design Intern for March 2026. Join a leading luxury brand to support the embroidery team in a dynamic and creative environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in visual research according to briefs, utilizing various sources such as magazines and Pinterest.
  • Support the Head of Embroideries in embroidery proposals, including creating designs using Photoshop.
  • Track the reception and dispatch of samples and archives from suppliers, maintaining a meticulous Excel file.
  • Update boards in preparation for fittings with the Artistic Director.
  • Aid in logistical preparations for fittings.
  • Work on embroidery placements for final collection models.
  • Participate in preparing runway looks and dressing models.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an applied arts or fashion school with prior experience in a studio setting and a valid internship agreement for the entire duration of the internship.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Suite is essential. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian is advantageous. Demonstrated rigor, dynamism, creativity, and teamwork skills.

Experience

Previous experience in a studio environment is required.

Education

Currently enrolled in an applied arts or fashion school.
