Balenciaga in Paris seeks an E‑Business Buying Assistant Intern for a 6‑month paid internship supporting e‑commerce buying, assortment and analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Generate and analyse weekly and monthly e‑commerce performance reports to identify best sellers, trends and actionable insights.
- Manage the publishable online assortment in coordination with content and e‑merchandising teams to ensure accurate and optimised product exposure.
- Support the buying team with operational tasks: order entry, stock movements, replenishment planning and delivery tracking informed by global performance data.
- Provide analytical support for showrooms by preparing detailed reports, product-level analysis and presentation materials.
- Perform competitor benchmarking and ongoing market monitoring to inform assortment and pricing decisions.
- Deliver administrative and ad hoc support for merchandise projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree or Business School programme.
- Available for a 6‑month paid internship placement.
- Fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organised, resourceful, autonomous and a proactive team player.
- Prior internship or initial professional experience in merchandising, buying or e‑commerce, preferably within fashion.

At least one successful first experience (internship or similar) in merchandising, buying or e‑commerce; experience within the fashion industry is strongly preferred.
Education
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or enrolled in a Business School programme.
