Balenciaga is hiring a Department Manager in Serravalle, Italy. Lead retail operations, team development, and luxury client engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Implement action plans defined by headquarters and Store Manager with consistent follow-up and analysis of business results
  • Assign targeted quantitative and qualitative goals to department teams and track performance against KPIs
  • Communicate high-quality feedback and reporting to Store Manager; build proactive relationships with Inventory and Buying stakeholders
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment aligned with Balenciaga brand values; motivate and challenge teams to drive business results
  • Build strong relationships with Recruitment and HR to identify, attract, develop, and retain talent
  • Serve as Balenciaga brand ambassador, sustaining and promoting brand culture internally and externally; ensure consistent execution of Balenciaga Signature and client experience
  • Oversee client acquisition and retention strategies, from emerging clients to VVICs; monitor local market competition and competitive environment
  • Ensure all processes comply with legal, safety, security, sustainability, and HR guidelines; execute weekly and monthly team planning
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs including sales density, conversion rate, UPT, cross-selling rate, team sales productivity, training completion, turnover rate, client retention, and CRM/Omnichannel metrics

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in the retail or luxury sector
  • Demonstrated expertise in clienteling mindset, client portfolio management, client engagement, and loyalty programs
  • Strong product sensitivity with in-depth knowledge of fashion trends and luxury market dynamics
  • Precision and excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs
  • Adaptability, openness to feedback, strong listening abilities, and curiosity about market developments
  • High availability, responsiveness, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
  • Strong digital skills and facility with retail analytics and reporting tools

Experience

The successful candidate will be located in Serravalle Scrivia, Piedmont, Italy, with easy access to Milan.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 37,000 per annum.
