Balenciaga internship in demand planning in Paris; support retail forecasting and inventory optimization for October 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and adjust sales forecasts on existing products in collaboration with the Merchandising department for a dedicated scope
- Monitor forecast discrepancies versus initial assumptions and implement corrective actions
- Provide top-line analysis of stock and forecast for assigned category with actionable recommendations
- Maintain key planning parameters including production leadtime, tool stock, safety stock, and product substitutions
- Propose reorder requirements based on actual sales performance and future demand forecasts
- Identify stock shortage alerts and overstock risks at the global warehouse level
- Generate and deliver regular reporting including weekly sales reports and monthly S&OP material documentation
Qualifications
- Thorough mastery of Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in both English and French
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated team collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Organized, rigorous, and autonomous work approach
Skills
Experience
First experience in supply chain planning, ideally within a fast-growing industry, is preferred but not required for final-year students
Education
Pursuing or completing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field; final-year student status preferred
