Balenciaga — Data & BI Manager in Paris. Lead Data & Analytics strategy, deliver BI products and manage a mixed data team for the Maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Data & Analytics roadmap (prioritisation, budgeting, capacity planning and risk management) in coordination with IT and business stakeholders and in alignment with Kering’s group strategy.
- Design and enforce data architecture and engineering standards consistent with Kering Tech & Digital, including modelling, testing, documentation and versioning.
- Develop, deploy and maintain BI products and dashboards: define KPIs, certify datasets, implement data models, govern access and optimise user experience.
- Ensure data quality, security and regulatory compliance via controls, lineage, entitlement management and privacy-by-design in partnership with IT/security and Kering standards.
- Lead data governance, drive acculturation and adoption (self-service BI), manage communications and structure steering committees (COTECH/COPIL) with business teams, DSI and Kering Tech & Digital.
- Coordinate delivery with Kering Tech & Digital (platforms, run, standards) and manage external partners when required (scoping, oversight, quality and cost control).
- Recruit, coach and scale a mixed team of data engineers and BI consultants: staffing, objective setting, skills development and quality assurance of deliverables.
- Prepare and run Data & Analytics steering and technical committees (agenda, materials, decisions, follow-ups) and maintain the roadmap and action tracking.
Qualifications
- Proven track record leading Data & Analytics products from scoping through delivery, production release and run/maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including IT, business functions and corporate IT teams (Kering).
- Proven experience managing teams of data engineers and BI consultants, with a focus on coaching and delivering high-quality artefacts.
- Strong communication skills, strategic vision, rigor and demonstrated leadership in complex, international environments.
- Experience in retail, fashion or luxury sectors (omnichannel retail, e‑commerce performance, supply chain, CRM/clienteling) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.

Significant experience in data and analytics leadership, including ownership of data product lifecycles (scoping, delivery, production and run) and cross-functional coordination with IT and commercial teams; prior exposure to retail, fashion or luxury environments preferred.
Education
Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics or equivalent professional experience.
