Balenciaga — Corporate Financial Controller in Paris: lead corporate budgeting, monthly close, KPI analysis and financial reporting for the Maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close process in coordination with the accounting team and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
- Manage budgetary control for corporate departments, monitoring spend and ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
- Track and analyse key KPIs (including drop rate, average price, number of samples) and evaluate development costs for collections.
- Perform variance analysis between forecasts and actuals, flagging risks and identifying operational improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with operational stakeholders.
- Produce and distribute monthly financial reporting and provide ad hoc analytical support to corporate teams.
- Act as the finance reference for analytical axes (creation, assignment and maintenance of structures) to ensure coherent chart of accounts.
- Ensure the integrity, reliability and consistency of financial data used in group reporting tools.
- Support and actively contribute to finance systems and process improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting or management control (or equivalent).
- Initial professional experience in Audit or Management Control.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Highly analytical with proven ability to interpret financial data and produce insightful analysis.
- Rigorous, well organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
