Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Components Sourcing and Purchasing team across men’s and women’s collections during development and ordering cycles.
  • Codify components and maintain product data in the PLM system.
  • Create and process purchase orders through PLM and Esker; manage order tracking and supplier follow-up.
  • Receive and inspect incoming components (identification, quality check) and coordinate reception logistics.
  • Collect technical information and purchasing conditions from suppliers; update and maintain related databases and IT tools.
  • Provide administrative support for component management, including archiving and documentation control.
  • Assist the purchasing service on ad hoc operational tasks to ensure continuity of the development pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a fashion school, applied arts programme, business school or university with strong interest in product development, materials and manufacturing.
  • Demonstrable sensitivity to Balenciaga’s aesthetic and the creative process.
  • Autonomous, reactive, highly organised and rigorous with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude with good initiative and the capacity to work in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with PLM workflows is preferred.
  • Fluent English is an advantage.
  • Previous exposure to a creative, artisanal or fashion production environment (atelier, product development, sourcing) is a plus.

Student-level internship. Prior experience in a creative, atelier, product development or sourcing environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
