Balenciaga seeks a Collection Merchandising Shoes Intern in Paris to support footwear analysis, showroom coordination, and collection tracking.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct competitive analysis, price positioning studies, and trend monitoring for footwear collections
- Build and maintain collection tracking tools and documentation systems
- Support showroom updates and maintain sales enablement tools
- Provide operational support during showroom installation and setup
- Manage sample inventory and coordinate sample distribution
- Participate in collection briefing sessions and team meetings
- Monitor and analyze post-showroom sales performance (Sell-in metrics)
- Execute ad-hoc collection tracking and analysis as required by the team
Qualifications
- University degree or business school qualification
- Strong product sensitivity and solid fashion culture foundation
- Minimum 6-month internship experience in a luxury fashion house
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
- Bilingual English proficiency; Italian language skills highly valued
- Flexibility and autonomous work style with proven analytical capabilities
