Balenciaga in Zhengzhou, China seeks a Client Ambassador at David Plaza to deliver omnichannel luxury client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve individual and store sales targets, KPIs and qualitative objectives through proactive client prospecting and conversion.
- Represent the Balenciaga brand in every client interaction by delivering immersive storytelling about collections, inspirations and product details.
- Deliver a seamless omnichannel client journey, including in‑store, distant sales and after‑sales follow up, in line with HQ guidelines and loyalty programmes.
- Create, maintain and develop a personalised client portfolio; use the Luce app to track interactions and ensure timely follow‑up.
- Process client transactions accurately at the cash desk (in‑store and remote), utilising M‑xstore and other point‑of‑sale tools as required.
- Coordinate with the stock/BOH team to guarantee product availability, receive and process deliveries, and prepare shipments to clients.
- Execute visual merchandising and product presentation standards to maintain the Balenciaga house image and store organisation.
- Report client requests, complaints and market feedback to the Store Management and Client Engagement teams; propose follow‑up actions.
- Contribute to Retail Excellence processes across front and back of house, including stock control, inventories and retail operations.
- Foster collaborative teamwork with internal stakeholders (store management, VM, accounting, client engagement) and assist colleagues to achieve store goals.
- Support omnichannel after‑sales procedures to the highest standard and relay administrative follow‑up to Store Director / Operations Manager.
- Keep abreast of market and fashion trends and participate in the store’s sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant retail sales experience when hired externally; internal candidates typically have completed 1 year as Sales Associate.
- Successful completion of Balenciaga onboarding and Omnichannel Client Journey training if promoted internally.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client portfolios with a personalised, relationship‑driven approach.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills with an aptitude for product knowledge and fashion trend awareness.
- Competence in front‑ and back‑of‑house retail processes including transactions, stock handling and inventory control.
- Professional demeanour, excellent communication and a collaborative team orientation aligned with brand standards.

Experience
External candidates: at least 2 years of relevant sales experience in luxury or premium retail. Internal candidates: completion of Balenciaga onboarding and omnichannel training and a minimum of 1 year as a Sales Associate.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in fashion, business or a related discipline is a plus.
