Balenciaga Seoul – Associate Store Manager. Drive sales, lead teams, and deliver luxury retail excellence in this pivotal store operations role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with Store Manager to manage floor coverage, drive sales growth, oversee visual merchandising and displays, and ensure operational excellence
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics; evaluate results continuously and provide qualitative feedback to Store Manager
- Support head office reporting responsibilities and communicate findings to store team
- Monitor local competitive landscape and business environment; track market developments
- Execute and follow up on action plans established by head office and Store Manager; track KPI progress and provide targeted support to achieve targets
- Cultivate a positive work environment; model brand behaviours and inspire team members daily to foster engagement and challenge-oriented mindset
- Prepare and coordinate team and individual activities including morning briefings and one-on-one meetings in collaboration with Store Manager
- Manage employee issues in partnership with Store Manager and provide operational support for team development
- Oversee floor and back-of-house standards aligned with Retail Excellence guidelines; ensure store environment reflects Balenciaga brand standards
- Act as Balenciaga ambassador; maintain and strengthen brand culture internally and externally
- Lead clienteling activities in accordance with head office guidelines; drive customer acquisition, development and retention across all segments from new customers to VIC/VVIC
- Monitor Customer Experience Evaluation (CEE) and Net Promoter Score (NPS); take corrective action based on results
- Ensure inventory accuracy; supervise inventory activities and warehouse stock in coordination with Operations Manager; report discrepancies immediately
- Manage warehouse inventory to align with store sales potential; validate appropriate inventory flow
- Support Store Manager in staff scheduling and resource planning
- Review and improve existing procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of Balenciaga product sensitivity and ability to embody the brand's image and values
- Track record in luxury retail management or similar high-end retail environment
- Strong knowledge of fashion trends and luxury market dynamics
- Proven ability to develop new customer relationships and strengthen existing customer loyalty
- Excellent customer service mindset and communication skills
- Proactive, positive team player with proven ability to foster collaborative work environments
