Balenciaga Associate Store Manager role in Berlin. Lead sales team, drive luxury retail growth, and manage boutique operations for a prestigious Kering maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the store and sales team to meet and exceed all sales and KPI targets in compliance with brand processes and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise business opportunities and operational efficiency
  • Oversee floor coverage, visual merchandising, displays, client service, and operational functions; support the Store Manager in achieving quantitative and qualitative goals
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment aligned with Balenciaga brand behaviours; identify, attract, recruit, develop, and retain talent
  • Act as a Balenciaga Ambassador internally and externally; sustain and promote the brand culture and client experience consistently
  • Develop clienteling strategies and foster client loyalty and retention across all customer segments, including VICs and VVICs
  • Build a network of influential local and international luxury stakeholders to enhance client loyalty and brand reputation
  • Ensure all processes comply with legal, safety, security, sustainability, and HR guidelines; execute Retail Excellence standards
  • Support inventory management and warehouse stock coordination; challenge and improve current processes to drive efficiency and growth
  • Monitor and optimise KPIs including sales density, conversion rates, UPT, cross-selling rate, sales productivity, training completion rate, staff turnover, local retention rate, and CRM effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in team management and store operations within luxury retail
  • Proven track record in luxury product sales and achieving business targets
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills with a demonstrated sense of responsibility
  • Existing customer portfolio and established relationships with local clientele
  • Proficiency with IT tools and systems; keen knowledge of product and fashion culture
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-performance retail environments
  • Fluent German and English language skills
