Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Director in day-to-day management and overall store operations, acting as the Store Director’s representative when required.
- Lead and motivate Department Managers and sales teams to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI objectives (sales density, conversion rate, UPT, cross-sell, transactions).
- Oversee floor coverage, visual merchandising, display standards, client service delivery and omnichannel execution to ensure consistent brand presentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise business opportunities and local market presence.
- Drive clienteling strategies to build loyalty across customer segments (beginners to VIC/VVIC), and cultivate networks influential in local and international luxury markets.
- Recruit, develop and retain talent; foster a positive, motivated workplace aligned with Balenciaga behaviours and luxury service standards.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, security, HR, sustainability and internal retail excellence guidelines; manage inventory controls and warehouse activities.
- Continuously challenge and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and support store growth.
Qualifications
- Sustained, proven experience in a managerial role within luxury retail.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and managing KPIs in a high-end retail environment.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop and lead multi-disciplinary retail teams.
- Exceptional client service orientation, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, adaptable, precise and commercially minded with strong fashion/product sensitivity.
- Availability and responsiveness suitable for flagship retail hours and peak trading periods.
Experience
Significant experience in luxury retail management with a history of leading teams and delivering measurable sales and clienteling results; proven aptitude for operational and people leadership at store or regional retail level.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in fashion, business, retail management or a related field preferred.
