Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Buyer throughout the buying cycle to build a relevant footwear assortment aligned with global strategy, including selection, quantities and store allocation
- Prepare and compile weekly Excel reporting to analyse sales, inventory and KPIs and translate findings into actionable plans
- Monitor market and fashion trends within the luxury segment to inform assortment and buying decisions
- Partner with the Retail team to align assortment and replenishment strategies with yearly sales targets
- Manage reorders, inter‑store transfers and product flow to optimise availability and margins
- Execute proactive merchandise consolidations and pricing adjustments to ensure profitability and market satisfaction
- Process seasonal price changes and assist with pricing and product flow for outlet channels
- Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and cross‑functional initiatives as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in buying roles, preferably within luxury retail or fashion
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple workflows in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong analytical rigour, numerical literacy and experience working with sales and performance KPIs
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with strong commercial acumen
- High level of organisation, attention to detail and product sensibility
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and maintain brand behaviours
- Availability to travel as required
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of progressive buying experience, ideally in luxury fashion retail, with demonstrated success in assortment planning, inventory control and KPI‑driven decision making.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
