Balenciaga Associate Store Manager position in Seoul. Support Store Manager leadership, drive sales and KPI targets, and embody the luxury brand experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in floor coverage management, sales enhancement, visual merchandising, displays, customer service, and operational tasks
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales results and provide continuous performance evaluation
- Assist with headquarters reporting and share relevant information with the store team
- Monitor local competitive landscape and business environment
- Provide quality feedback to the Store Manager and report on requested matters
- Support and lead the Store Manager in achieving specific qualitative and quantitative objectives
- Execute and follow up on action plans established by headquarters and Store Manager
- Update store team on KPI status and provide necessary support to achieve targets
- Foster a positive work environment and model brand behaviors for the team to emulate
- Prepare and facilitate team activities including morning briefings and one-on-one meetings
- Collaborate with Store Manager to manage employee issues and provide job-related support
- Contribute to sales team development through clear goal follow-up and timely, consistent feedback
- Act as a Balenciaga ambassador, maintaining and promoting brand culture internally and externally
- Oversee clienteling activities in accordance with headquarters guidelines
- Maintain store ambiance consistent with Balenciaga's brand image
- Execute Balenciaga signature experiences and customer experiences consistently
- Monitor and act on CEE and NPS scores
- Develop clienteling mindset and enhance customer loyalty from new clients to VIC (Very Important Client) tier
- Acquire, develop, and retain clients through advanced data collection and one-on-one relationships
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences befitting Balenciaga's signature standards
- Measure in-store actions utilizing multiple channels (phone, email, etc.)
- Manage customer complaints and execute appropriate sales procedures
- Build networks with influential individuals in domestic and international luxury industries to strengthen VIC and VVIC loyalty
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, security, internal regulations, sustainability, and HR guidelines
- Ensure store image meets Balenciaga standards and provide team access to necessary resources
- Manage available resources by planning, approving, organizing, and preparing activities
- Implement all necessary measures to ensure security of products and valuable items in store
- Execute Retail Excellence guidelines (FOH, BOH, store team)
- Supervise inventory activities and warehouse stock with Store Manager; report discrepancies immediately
- Manage inventory activities with Operations Manager based on inventory results
- Manage warehouse stock and validate that operations align with store sales potential
- Review and improve existing procedures to sustain growth and enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Oversee store team scheduling activities
Qualifications
- Understanding of Balenciaga product sensitivity and ability to act in alignment with the brand's image and values
- Interest in the luxury market and knowledge of fashion trends to drive new client development and strengthen existing customer relationships
- Customer service mindset and strong communication skills to deliver excellent customer service and after-sales support
- Proactive and positive team player who contributes to maintaining a positive work environment and strengthening teamwork
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury retail management or a similar leadership role in a high-end fashion environment is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in driving sales targets, managing retail teams, and maintaining brand standards is essential.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; further education or retail certifications in luxury retail management are advantageous.
