Balenciaga Assistant Store Manager role in Madrid, Spain. Lead store operations, sales teams, and client experience in this luxury retail management position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead Department Managers and sales team to achieve quantitative and qualitative sales targets and KPIs
- Assist Store Manager in overseeing floor coverage, visual merchandising, display execution, and operational functions
- Manage and supervise team planning, scheduling, and daily operations across the boutique
- Develop clienteling strategies and build client loyalty programmes, particularly with VIC and VVIC segments
- Serve as Balenciaga Brand Ambassador, promoting and sustaining brand culture internally and externally
- Ensure consistent execution of Balenciaga Signature and client experience standards
- Oversee inventory management, warehouse stock monitoring, and report discrepancies immediately
- Implement and maintain compliance with legal, safety, security, sustainability, and HR guidelines
- Execute Retail Excellence guidelines for front-of-house, back-of-house, and team standards
- Challenge and continuously improve current processes to drive efficiency and business growth
- Monitor and optimize KPIs including sales density, conversion rate, UPT, cross-selling rate, team productivity, turnover, and client retention metrics
- Build a network within the local luxury business community to enhance client acquisition and retention
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial position
- Significant experience in luxury goods or retail sales
- Demonstrated success in team management, including goal-setting, delegation, and results tracking
- Strong sensitivity to client experience and loyalty development
- Product and fashion market sensitivity
- Fluency in digital tools and systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years in a managerial position with significant experience in luxury goods or retail sales. Demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams to exceed sales targets and KPI goals while maintaining brand standards and client satisfaction.
Education
Secondary education required; higher education in business, management, retail, or hospitality preferred.
