Balenciaga seeks Assistant Finance Manager in Singapore to oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control for Southeast Asia & Oceania region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate, timely monthly management reports including sales and inventory analysis for management review and group consolidation
  • Review and validate lease information submissions from shared services team and coordinate with legal on lease agreement compliance
  • Prepare, analyse, and share monthly reporting packages with APAC team while ensuring accuracy of group consolidation requirements
  • Monitor capex spending against approved budgets in coordination with Store Planning and ensure timely recording of all committed capital expenditures
  • Communicate monthly spending reports to budget owners for ongoing monitoring and tracking of actual spend versus budgets and forecasts
  • Coordinate with Shared Service Centre regarding compliance requirements for auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare and submit timely budgets and forecasts for all SEA entities and consolidated reporting packages to APAC leadership
  • Support cost management and budget control initiatives with business owners to justify spending and optimise resource allocation
  • Guide and support retail team in SEA on business plans and project rollouts at store level
  • Prepare financial models and feasibility studies for new business opportunities and strategic initiatives
  • Drive process improvements to ensure compliance with group policies and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as key contact for finance transformation projects, particularly SAP migration initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
  • 5 to 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in luxury retail industry
  • Strong accounting foundation with external audit experience preferred
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • Knowledge of SAP, HFM, and Power BI
  • Excellent analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
