Balenciaga Area Manager, Australia & New Zealand (Sydney) — lead multi‑store sales, operations and luxury client experience for Balenciaga in ANZ.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive attainment of sales, productivity and profitability targets across the assigned portfolio of stores.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly business performance; implement corrective action plans to improve KPIs such as conversion, UPT, ATV and sell‑through.
- Coach and develop Store Managers to close performance gaps, maximise sales potential and deliver consistent luxury client experiences.
- Ensure flawless execution of product launches, marketing campaigns, commercial initiatives and peak trading periods.
- Oversee store operations and compliance, including scheduling, stock management, reporting accuracy and correct use of POS, CRM and operational systems.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess standards, identify operational opportunities and share market insights with regional leadership.
- Partner with Merchandising and Visual Merchandising to optimise stock allocation, presentation and local sales opportunities.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, retention and succession planning; identify and develop high‑potential talent across the network.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive retail leadership experience, preferably within luxury or premium retail.
- Proven track record managing multiple stores or leading flagship/high‑volume operations.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable ability to analyse and improve retail KPIs.
- Hands‑on leadership and coaching capability with excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong analytical and problem‑solving aptitude.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Australia and New Zealand.

Experience
5–7 years of retail leadership with experience overseeing multiple stores or a regional portfolio; previous exposure to luxury or premium retail and flagship management is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, marketing or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional retail experience will be considered.
