Accounts Payable Manager at Balenciaga, Paris. Lead P2P operations, manage a team of five, and drive e-invoicing transformation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise the entire vendor accounting process and team of five Accounts Payable specialists
- Ensure invoice compliance and adherence to Group and regulatory procedures
- Monitor and improve processing timelines in coordination with operational, IT, and Finance teams
- Oversee vendor and intercompany payments, including associated cash flow forecasts
- Lead monthly and annual close activities, including account reconciliations and control procedures
- Execute and maintain Trade and IPO intercompany operation reconciliations
- Conduct vendor account analysis, aged balance reviews, and key performance indicator reporting
- Develop, update, and deploy accounting procedures and SAP/Esker operating guidelines
- Participate in finance transformation projects and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Act as subject matter expert and user support resource for P2P tools
- Spearhead e-invoicing initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with IT, tax, and operations teams on digital invoicing solutions
- Guarantee quality, reliability, and monitoring of inbound and outbound e-invoicing flows
- Adapt Procure-to-Pay processes to meet digitalization and automation requirements
- Coach teams through change management related to e-invoicing projects
- Build, develop, and mentor the Accounts Payable team to ensure high service quality and skill development
Qualifications
- Baccalauréat +4/5 (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance
- Significant experience in accounts payable and team management
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Esker, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with finance transformation projects, invoice digitalization, or e-invoicing solutions preferred
- Fluent French and professional/bilingual English

Significant experience in accounts payable operations and team management, with demonstrated expertise in leading financial process improvements and Procure-to-Pay system implementations.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Baccalauréat +4) or Master's degree (Baccalauréat +5) in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
