Balenciaga is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant in Paris to manage supplier invoices, payment runs, banking operations, vendor relationships and related administrative tasks in an international environment. The role sits within Finance and reports to the Accounting Manager.

Role & Responsibilities

• Control, code, analyse and record supplier invoices.
• Manage analytical expense accounting in accordance with internal procedures.
• Import automated invoicing flows daily and monitor rejected items.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of recorded accounting data.
• Generate, control and analyse supplier payment runs in euros and foreign currencies.
• Monitor and process banking transactions related to supplier activity.
• Track advances, verify their settlement and issue necessary reminders.
• Follow up on supplier reminders by telephone and email.
• Handle routine requests and maintain high-quality supplier relationships.
• Identify, track and resolve disputes in coordination with buyers and relevant teams.
• Ensure information flows effectively between stakeholders.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Send reminders and file and archive accounting documents.

Qualifications

• BTS in Accounting, Management or equivalent training.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounts payable or auxiliary accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and an accounting ERP, ideally SAP.
• Knowledge of ESKER is an advantage.
• English proficiency sufficient to work in an international environment, both in writing and orally.
• Organised, rigorous and autonomous, with effective prioritisation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Discretion and reliability.
