Aveda Yard Material Handler (2nd shift) in Blaine, MN. Operate yard tractors and material handling equipment, $20–$24/hr. Full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Load and unload product onto semi-trailers using powered material handling equipment (PMHE)
- Safely operate yard tractor (semi-truck) and perform daily pre-use safety inspections
- Transport goods between Aveda BMF and WW facilities
- Spot and position trailers at dock doors for loading and unloading operations
- Complete bin-to-bin inventory transfers using RF scanners and SAP transactions
- Operate designated lift truck equipment and perform required daily pre-use inspections
- Move and transfer various types of inventory throughout the facility in compliance with warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Refurbish and maintain pallets as needed
- Support sustainability initiatives and participate in Behavior Based Safety (BBS) programs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license required; Class A CDL preferred but not required
- Minimum of two years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
- Previous tractor-trailer, yard tractor, or trailer spotting experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate powered material handling equipment (PMHE), including forklifts and lift trucks
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Basic computer and RF scanner experience preferred
- SAP or warehouse management system experience preferred
- Forklift certification or previous powered industrial truck experience preferred

Experience
Minimum of two years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred; previous experience operating tractor-trailers, yard tractors, or performing trailer spotting operations is highly valued. Manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment experience is advantageous.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20 to USD 24 per hour.
