Aveda seeks an inspirational Store Manager to lead a sales team, drive achievement of sales and customer service targets, and execute strategic business plans. This first-line management role combines team leadership and coaching with business planning, inventory management, event coordination, and customer relationship management, offering comprehensive exposure to prestige beauty retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of Sales Associates to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Develop and execute an agile business plan including strategic customer targeting and in-store event execution
- Own full accountability for store performance and profitability
- Manage business planning activities including sales forecasting, target setting, and staff scheduling
- Oversee retail operations including inventory management, facilities oversight, and cash reconciliation
- Build and sustain exceptional customer relationships through personalized service delivery
- Create and implement in-store events and promotional activities
- Analyze sales data and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales associates
- Manage point-of-sale systems and ensure operational compliance
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous business planning experience including sales target setting, customer service objectives, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
- Retail operations experience encompassing inventory management, facilities management, and cash reconciliation
- Proven track record of leading teams to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Experience creating and executing in-store events
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Proof of right to live and work in the country
