Aveda seeks a dynamic Store Manager to lead a retail team and drive business results in a prestige beauty environment. The successful candidate will have full accountability for store operations, team leadership, customer relationship management, and execution of strategic business plans including sales targeting, in-store events, and inventory management. This role offers exposure to business planning, consumer insights, and front-line marketing as a pathway to senior leadership positions within the beauty industry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve all sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Create and execute an agile business plan including strategic customer targeting and retention initiatives
- Manage all retail operations including inventory control, facilities management, cash reconciliation, and point-of-sale processes
- Plan and execute impactful in-store events and promotional activities to drive customer engagement
- Conduct sales analysis and staff scheduling to optimize store performance
- Provide inspirational, personalized customer service and maintain exceptional customer relationship management
- Recruit and retain talent through coaching and development of team members
- Monitor performance metrics and adapt strategies to achieve business objectives
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Previous business planning experience including setting targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience creating and executing in-store events
- Strong operational management skills including inventory and facilities management
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Legal right to work in the United States
