Aveda seeks a dynamic Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring efficient store operations and exceptional customer experiences. The role combines supervisory responsibilities—including coaching sales teams in delivering inspirational, personalized customer service—with essential cash handling duties such as daily reconciliation and opening/closing store operations. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor sales team members to model exceptional customer service behaviors and achieve sales and service targets
- Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and point-of-sale operations on a rotating basis
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day store operations and staff development
- Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while maintaining strong product knowledge
- Monitor retail performance metrics and contribute to meeting departmental and store-wide targets
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Demonstrated experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proven ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Previous supervisory or team-lead experience involving coaching and mentoring others is desirable. Prior exposure to retail operations, including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures, is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or business training is beneficial.
