Aveda seeks a dynamic Retail Keyholder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in driving smooth, efficient store operations at the Mall of America location. The successful candidate will apply exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities to lead by example, modeling the customer service behaviors required to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized service while achieving all sales and service targets. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store on a rota basis, cash reconciliation, and leading the sales team through mentorship to cultivate a culture of excellence in prestige beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient daily store operations
- Lead and mentor sales team members by modeling exemplary customer service behaviors and coaching them to achieve sales and service targets
- Perform opening and closing duties on a rota basis, including cash reconciliation and point-of-sale system management
- Deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service to drive sales performance and customer satisfaction
- Manage cash handling, daily reconciliation, and retail operations procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing (desirable)
- Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring others (desirable)
- Proof of right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent (inferred as standard for retail operations role)
