Aveda seeks a Makeup Artist to deliver personalized, educational in-store service, contribute to store events and uphold visual merchandising standards. The role is part-time and pays an anticipated $18.98–$31.63 per hour, with eligibility for a competitive bonus program and benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers.
- Use creative and technical makeup expertise to serve customers.
- Collaborate with the team on in-store events.
- Help ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards and stands out from competitors.
Qualifications
- Makeup artistry training or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; applicants with amateur-level experience are welcome if they can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Availability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
