Aveda seeks an experienced and inspirational Keyholder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Experience Center. The role combines hands-on sales leadership with essential store operations responsibilities, including daily cash reconciliation and opening/closing duties on a rota basis. The successful candidate will coach and mentor the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while achieving sales and customer service targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor sales team members to demonstrate behaviors aligned with inspirational and personalized customer service delivery
- Lead by example and model expected customer engagement and professional standards
- Carry out start and end of day cash reconciliation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Open and close the store on a rota basis and execute associated protocols
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth store operations
- Drive achievement of sales and customer service targets through team leadership
- Execute retail operations including point-of-sale system management
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing (desirable)
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience with coaching and mentoring capabilities (desirable)
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
- Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Legal right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience is essential, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Supervisory or team leadership experience with demonstrated coaching and mentoring abilities is desirable. Retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures, is highly valued.
