Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service aligned with brand standards
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in maintaining efficient store operations and achieving sales and customer service targets
- Execute daily cash reconciliation and point-of-sale procedures with accuracy and integrity
- Open and close the store on a rota basis, ensuring compliance with operational protocols
- Model exemplary retail behaviors and customer engagement that reflect Aveda's commitment to prestige beauty
- Manage retail operations including inventory management and visual merchandising standards
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or beauty retail
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing (desirable)
- Prior supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring capabilities (desirable)
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
- Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Legal right to work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience, preferably within the cosmetics or prestige beauty sector. While not essential, prior retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and opening/closing procedures is desirable. Previous supervisory experience involving coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is advantageous.
