Aveda seeks an ambitious and inspirational Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient store operations. The successful candidate will leverage outstanding coaching and mentoring skills to lead by example, modeling the behaviors required of the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while achieving sales and customer service targets. Responsibilities include essential daily cash reconciliation and store opening and closing duties on a rotational basis.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day store operations
• Provide coaching and mentoring to sales team members to model and reinforce desired customer service behaviors
• Deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service to achieve sales and customer service targets
• Perform start-of-day and end-of-day cash reconciliation and point-of-sale procedures
• Open and close the store on a rotational basis
• Maintain retail operations standards and ensure efficient store functioning

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
• Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
• Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Right to live and work in the United States (proof required if invited to interview)

Skills

Experience

Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Previous retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening and closing procedures is desirable. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience involving coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets is desirable.
