Aveda seeks an experienced and motivational Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering seamless store operations and exceptional customer service. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the sales team through coaching and modeling exceptional customer service behaviors
- Perform opening and closing store procedures including cash reconciliation and point-of-sale verification
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in achieving sales and customer service targets
- Ensure compliance with retail operations standards and brand guidelines
- Oversee daily retail transactions and cash handling procedures
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within the cosmetics or beauty sector
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience with coaching and mentoring responsibilities
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is desirable, as is prior exposure to retail operations including cash reconciliation and store management responsibilities. Comfort with fast-paced retail environments and flexible scheduling is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or business education is advantageous but not required.
