Estée Lauder Companies seeks an experienced Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the seamless operation of an Aveda retail location. The successful candidate will leverage exceptional coaching and mentoring skills to lead by example, driving the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while achieving all sales and customer service targets. Responsibilities include cash reconciliation, store opening and closing procedures on a rotating basis, and fostering a culture of excellence in prestige beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily store operations and strategic initiatives
- Lead, coach, and mentor sales team members to model exemplary customer service behaviors and achieve sales targets
- Conduct daily cash reconciliation and perform opening and closing procedures on a rota basis
- Ensure accurate point-of-sale transactions and maintain cash handling protocols
- Deliver inspirational and personalized customer service experiences aligned with brand standards
- Manage retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to drive sales and customer satisfaction metrics
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience with coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Previous supervisory or team-leading experience in retail is desirable. Candidates should possess demonstrated retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty, with a track record of providing exceptional customer service and driving sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or professional certifications in retail management or beauty are a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.50 to USD 25.50 per hour.
