Aveda seeks a part-time Key Holder in Lexington, Kentucky, to support store management, coach the sales team, reconcile cash, and open and close the store on a rota basis. The role requires proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics, and offers progressive career opportunities, training and development, and a competitive remuneration and benefits package.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth, efficient operation of the store.
- Lead by example, coaching and mentoring the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service and meet sales and customer service targets.
- Perform start- and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Open and close the store on a rota basis.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Previous retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and store opening and closing, is desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets, is desirable.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
